
As leading healthcare providers in the region, Exeter Health Resources and its affiliates are pleased to offer the Community Benefits Report for Fiscal Year 2006. Our mission is to help improve the health of the community – a mission that is of utmost importance to our clinical and professional staff of more than 2,000 employees. Exeter Health Resources serves 35 communities in the Seacoast region with a population of 223,155.
During the past year, Exeter Health Resources and its affiliates have provided $18.9 million in community benefit programs. Education and wellness programs, mobile health and dental care for the uninsured, subsidized health services, and financial support of other organizations and agencies vital to the health of our community are just a few of the ways Exeter Health Resources gives back.

Every five years, Exeter Health Resources, in collaboration with other key area healthcare agencies, undertakes a Community Needs Assessment to identify, prioritize and address critical health issues. The next Community Needs Assessment will take place in 2008.
